Chilean death metal quartet Sepulcrum released their second full-length, Lacerator, on July 24, 2026 through Chaos Records on CD, cassette and digital formats.
The successor to 2023’s Lamentation of Immolated Souls expands the band’s late-’80s and early-’90s death metal foundation through ten tracks built around sharp riffing, tightly controlled dynamics and a darker technical edge. Members of Sepulcrum are also associated with Horrifying and Hallux Valgus.
Lacerator was mixed and mastered by Benjamín Barrantes at Necrotic Studio, with cover artwork by Nox Fragor Art. The album keeps the band’s old-school vocabulary intact while pushing toward more intricate arrangements and a more defined identity.
For listeners of Morbid Angel, Death, Pestilence and Infernal Conjuration.
