Chilean death metal band Deconsekrated are streaming their sophomore full-length, The Inexorable Transcendence of Death, in its entirety through Death Metal Promotion ahead of its October 2 release via Nuclear Winter Records.
Formed in 2020, Deconsekrated work within a dark and ritualistic form of death metal shaped by dense riffing, oppressive atmosphere and abrupt turns in tempo and structure. Across eight tracks, the new album expands on that approach without leaving the foundations of classic death metal behind.
The record follows the band’s 2024 EP, Ascension in the Altar of Condemned, which received editions across CD, vinyl and cassette through labels in Mexico, Canada, Argentina, Poland and Chile. Deconsekrated have also performed with Master, Malevolent Creation and Morta Skuld, as well as appearing in Argentina and at Ossum Total Death Festival in Mexico City.
Lyrically and conceptually, the band continues to explore death, the desecration of Christian dogma and spiritual transmutation. The Inexorable Transcendence of Death positions those themes within a more developed eight-track statement built around hostile momentum, memorable riffs and an occult atmosphere.
